1. What ClipMark is

ClipMark is a browser extension that converts the article content of a web page into a Markdown file. The extension's source code is released under the MIT licence and is available at github.com/L2027123/clipmark.

2. Free tier

The free tier includes unlimited clipping, all five frontmatter templates, save-to-file and copy-to-clipboard. It is free forever and is not time-limited, feature-limited or ad-supported.

3. Pro licence

Pro is a one-time purchase of USD $9.99. It is not a subscription and will never auto-renew. Your licence does not expire.

A Pro licence unlocks the auto-folder setting, auto-generated tags, and every Pro feature released in future. It may be activated on up to 5 browsers. Activation is tied to a randomly generated installation id stored on your device; you may reset it by contacting support.

The licence is for your personal use. You may not resell, redistribute or publish your licence key.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the Merchant of Record. As Merchant of Record, Creem is the legal seller of record for your purchase and handles VAT, GST and sales tax compliance, invoicing and chargebacks. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.

5. Refunds

We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund. Email junliang2027@outlook.com from the address used at checkout within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the full amount. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Beyond 14 days we will still refund you if Pro does not work as described and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time.

6. Your content

You keep full ownership of every page you clip and every file ClipMark produces. ClipMark never uploads your content, so we have no claim to it whatsoever. You are responsible for respecting the copyright of the pages you clip.

7. Open source licence

The ClipMark source code is licensed under the MIT License. This Terms of Service governs the Pro licence key and the purchase relationship only; it does not restrict your rights under the MIT licence to use, modify and distribute the source code.

8. Availability and disclaimers

ClipMark is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that extraction will be accurate on every page — web pages vary enormously in structure and some will clip imperfectly.

We may add, change or remove Pro features over time. We will not remove features from the free tier.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for Pro.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always available at this URL. Material changes will be announced in the extension's release notes and will not retroactively reduce the rights you have already purchased.
